steven,

Thanks for the update and it's nice to hear that Fred is keeping well. Perhaps you could mention to him that he's missed on the forum.

Hopefully we will hear soon from Chris F. and a few others that have been absent lately.

Thanks for your kind messages, everyone.

The Mrs and I are fine since the lock-down has been in effect in SF, just coping and staying healthy especially as members of the 65+ age group, wearing the mask when outside, studying, reading, keeping up with all the depressing and horrific news, etc, etc. etc.

Obviously, no traveling this year, that's shot for sure. Wear the mask, stay healthy !

...vast store of historical knowledge!

Agreed! I don’t know how he does it. I read books and the occasional academic paper on historical events and I can’t remember the vast amount of details and minutae, but with Fred, it just seems to roll right off the keyboard. I have no idea how that happens.

And yes, it's very good to hear he is waiting it out at home.

It's not too late for Fred, or anyone else, to join in on this Sundays meeting. People just need to PM me with their email address and I will send them the link.

I'm happy to hear all is well with you, Fred.

@ James...thanks for your concern, you stay safe and healthy in Texas given the dire situation there right now.

@ Steven....Something here that might perk your music interest if you're interested in Saxony and Prussia. instrumental music....www.museumsshop-im-schoss.de.

There are 4 CDs in the series. The accompanying texts are in German and English...very informative both historically and n the realm of music.
