AAA discounts in Paris, Schilthorn cable, Salzburg, Vienna, Neuschwanstein

Hi:
Does anyone know of any AAA discounts available at attractions in Vienna, Salzburg, Switzerland(Murren, Interlaken area), Neuschwanstein Castle and Paris? Do you just show your AAA card or visit the European automobile association office for details ? Thank you for your help.

I've been an AAA member for years, and, as far as I know, there's no reciprocity between the European auto association and AAA.

I perked up thinking I may have been missing something. I've never noticed a AAA discount in Europe. A AAA office should be able to tell you conclusively.

I think you're putting WAYYY too much faith in AAA. They are best used for obtaining IDPs and towing services.

Same with me, I thought, "How did I miss that?" I checked the website, however, and found no mention anywhere of any discounts outside of the US.

This is what I found on the AAA website~~~~~~

Global Show Your Card & Save Program
Many clubs in the world are active in our global "Show Your Care & Save (SYC&S)” program. This means that they have partnerships throughout their countries where you can obtain discounts (attractions, museums, hotels, retail locations, and some restaurants). To see what partners the clubs have in their countries, please visit your own club's Website and find the "Search for Savings" (under "savings" or "benefits") on your club's Website at www.aaa.com. This will show you all of the partners you can take advantage of while traveling in those countries.

Remember, for any or all services throughout the world through any other international automobile clubs, you must have your current, valid AAA or CAA membership card with you at all times.

If you need additional information, please contact AAA International Relations.

If you are a AAA or CAA member, click here.

Thanks everyone...apparently AAA does have partnerships with European AA. But it is not clear which attractions give discounts. Maybe we'll have to ask everywhere we buy tickets.

We got a rather large discount at Skansen in Stockholm a few years ago when showing our AAA card.
