This is just a quick thank you to the community for the many emails we have received notifying us of recent spam. We'll always clean it out when we find it or find out about it, so your notifications are appreciated. It is great to have a community that takes ownership of this space enough that they make an effort to help keep it clean.
To respond to some of your comments, please know that as we always have done, we are taking appropriate actions to combat spam. Spam isn't something out of the ordinary. For those of you that suggest that we should be doing something more about it, we have controls here and I invite you to think of how much spam you don't see. Combating spam is always a reactive process and we are taking appropriate measure. There will always be spam to a varying degree and we will always clean it up when it does make it onto our public boards. We have a great forum here and we have a lot less spam than other forums. You make that possible and we thank you.
