A unique travel experience.....

For anyone on the Forum with a "generous budget" interested in trying an unusual and unique travel experience, THIS TOUR is one to consider. As it originates in this area, it was featured in the local paper and the price listed was $33,000 PP.

The article also mentioned that this tour tended to attract people from a variety of income levels, including of course the wealthy but also people that have downsized their homes, people with generous pensions (including police and firefighters) that just wanted a splurge and also some single women. I won't elaborate on the author's description of the latter category as it invited a nasty "Letter to the Editor" a few days after the article appeared.

I must remember to buy some Lottery tickets today......

does that include tips for the tour leader? I wouldn't want to take it unless tips were included.

My grandmother did something like this about 20 years ago, taking a tour to places all over the world for 35 days. I think it cost her $14,000 back then.

I determined back then I wanted to grow up and be just like my grandma :-)

Great goal Angela!

i like the itinerary of the A&K one better than the one Ken posted. But there is that pesky single supplement. $12,000. It seems like if you are paying that much you should get a single room!

So, I've got a dumb question. Why do they run the RTW itineraries heading west?
