A trip to remember!

I'm leaving in 2 hours on a trip to France but what makes this trip special is that my son and his fiancé are joining me. We'll arrive in Paris and take the train to Fountainebleau and spend 2 days with no agenda except seeing the palace and hiking in the forrest. On Sunday we'll head back to Paris and watch the finish of the Tour De France and while I'm in meetings every morning my son will be able to show his gal the sights of Paris. One evening I bought tickets hear a concert in Saint Chappel. I only get to see my son 2-3 times a year due to the fact he lives in Phoenix and I live in Kansas so I'm really looking forward to this.

What a great trip! Enjoy Paris, but I think you 'll enjoy your son and his girl more.

Donald, I can very much appreciate the fact that you're only able to see your Son occasionally. Two of my three Sons live some distance away (one in Victoria and one in the U.S.), so I only get to see them once or twice a year. Having the opportunity to travel with your Son and his fiancé will be wonderful! Hope you all have a fantastic time in France!

I lived in Fontainebleau part of the time last year, the palace is quite impressive. I went to the finish of the Tour de France on the Champs Elysees (though you cannot get to the actual finish line - unless you are a VIP) -- still a fun scene though. I've been to concerts in other churches in Paris, though not Ste Chappelle, but I know it will be fantastic.
You have chosen good things to do!
