We will be flying from Miami to London(flying during the night), with a full day to sightsee in London. In the early evening we have a flight to Nice, France. Any recommendations for avoiding jet lag to some extent for that day in London? Thanks!

Since you have another thread going on this subject in the "To the North" section, I suggest that you delete this thread. That way people will easily see all responses and will be able to add appropriate comments of their own.
I have found the best way to avoid jet lag is to take a sleeping aid and sleep during the flight. I take an Ambien before I eat the meal that is served and I'm sleepy before I finish. I'm one of the lucky ones and I wake up 8 hours later ready to go, wide awake. When I land in London I'm ready for a full day of sight-seeing and I can party that night, too. It's not for everyone and I would advise everyone to try the pill before you go.
I take Advil PM and get at least 5 hours sleep on the flight. I am usually ok the first day even, going to bed around 9 or 10 and waking up and ready to go out again the next morning. Thats on the way TO England. On the way back to Denver, im shattered!
