What dates are generally the best for watching fall foliage in the Loire? I am planning to go sometime in Sept-November and would like to go at peak leaf turning time. Please help.

What dates are generally the best for watching fall foliage in the Loire? I am planning to go sometime in Sept-November and would like to go at peak leaf turning time. Please help.
That all depends on the weather. I have been there when they turned in early Sept. and also in mid-Nov. Probably late Sept. to early Oct. is best bet. The vendage I think would be more exciting, and probably a bit more predictable.
