Does anyone know if the National Museum of Rome is open on the May 1st Holiday?

Hi Jerry. Just google it and find a site to buy tix for that day - it will show you whether it is open that day. Enjoy your trip!

Bob - I was going to answer that! :-) I actually I tried it, and it wasn't so easy. The first site I found - the "official site" - didn't have any such information. The 2nd site I tried was a booking agent, and I couldn't advance the ticket purchase window past March. It just hung. Finally I went to rome.info/museums/cards and found this: National Roman Museums Palazzo Altemps - Palazzo Massimo - Crypta Balbi - Terme di Diocleziano Viale Enrico De Nicola, 78 Opening times: every day from 9:00 to 19:00 – Monday closed
Closed: 25 December, 1 January
