Paris Museum Pass

OK....let's try that again. Here's something you may want to consider. As we know, the Paris Museum pass site (www.parismuseum.com), switched over last year from 1,3 and 5 day passes to 2,4, and 6 day passes, now priced at 30, 45, and 60 Euro respectively. Well, thanks to a sharp-eyed Rick Steves fan, you can still purchase a 3-day pass thru RailEurope for $48 U-S, about 35 Euro. Five day passes are also apparently available thru them. You must purchase them in conjunction with another RailEurope product...any will apparently do. E-mails from RailEurope and Intermusees (Paris Museum Pass people) assure me that they're still allowed for sale.

Also don't forget that people < 18 years old are allowed into all museums in Paris for free. So don't buy a pass for them. The best thing about the Museum Pass is being allowed to skip the line and go straight to the front.
