Hi! I envy you. We had a great time in Lugana and visited Gandria. Very scenic. It was in summer, but in winter I would imagine it would be quite cool as you are surrounded by mountains and right on the lake. Google Lugano - as I recall there is a webcam (or series of them) that will show you what it looks like right now and you can judge what you need to keep warm..
