Hello! Does anyone have any suggestions on Apartments and safe locations in Barcelona 3 1/2 to 4 stars? Would like to be central to tours and sights. Arriving Sept 12th. Thanks! Jacque

We just returned from staying with Enjoy Barcelona, which has apartments all over the city. Check them out -- they have a pretty nice range of accommodations, from budget up to pretty luxurious (at least by my standards :)) We stayed in a basic apartment in Placa Reial and were really impressed with what we got for the price. Management was great -- they were very patient with me throughout the booking process and answered all my questions thoroughly. I highly recommend the company.
As far as locations go, it depends on your preferences. If it's your first time to the city and you're trying to see lots, I'd say aim at staying near Placa Catalunya.
