Possibly going to Provence end of November. Would like to rent an apartment or stay at a B&B with access to trains or buses between Nice and Marseille. Would need a room with 2 beds. Weather info would be great too! Thanks.

Need some clarification. Are you going only to Nice and Marseille? Or are you planning to stay in Provence but want to take a train or bus to those cities?
If the latter, Aix or Avignon would provide the most lodging choices as well as the best connections, both to the coast and other Provencal destinations.
