The paragraph where Eric Weiner says “Franklin knew that travel demands discernment…”. So true, the more places you visit the more critical you are. I remember when I first began international travel, I liked almost everywhere I went. Now that I’ve been to 37 countries, I’m more selective on what I like.
I agree Pat. Usually after each trip I would announce, XXX is my favorite place without giving any specific reasons. Now I am be more critical of places I didn’t love, sorry Norway, or not to go to places just because they are popular - I’m talking about you Switzerland.
