I am flying into London (Heathrow Airport) on our way to Croatia. I have a 5 hour wait between flights. It is possible to go out into the city? Is there anything close by? Is it worth it? Thank you.

London is too far, but Windsor and it's famous castle border the airport. It will be tight but if your plane arrives on time you can take a taxi to the castle and back to the terminal within five hours. http://wikitravel.org/en/Windsor_and_Eton
