Greetings all!
I found a nice Mediterranean cruise departing from Barcelona. This is my first flying across the pond from the USA, so I'm seeking some advice on itineraries, specifically on what to do / go see given the short amount of time I have in each city.
This is my current plan;
London (2 days) > Paris (2 days) > Barcelona (1.5 Days)
Day 1: Arrive in London + Explore London
I will be flying into Europe via London LHR on a red-eye flight. Arrival is @ 0600 on Day 1. I'll drop my luggage off at the hotel, then go explore the city.
Day 2: Explore London
More exploring
Day 3: Eurostar to Paris + Explore Paris
I'll take a morning train to Paris, drop off my luggage at the hotel, then go explore the city
Day 4: Explore Paris
More exploring
Day 5: Flight to Barcelona + Explore Barcelona
I'll catch a morning flight out of CDG to BCN, drop off my luggage at the hotel, then go explore the city
Day 6: Explore Barcelona + Board Cruise Ship
This is embarkation day, so I have a chance to explore more of Barcelona until ~1300, then go to the cruise port for my 1500 embarkation time.
It's a bit of a crazy itinerary, hence why I'm kindly seeing your insights and advice on what I should go see/do in each city given the short amount of time I have in each.
Although usually I am a huge museum fan, given the time constraints, I'm thinking of minimizing the number of museums I go to. I'd prefer touring historic buildings/attractions and getting an authentic taste of each city (though ofc I know I'll have to come back someday to each!)
This was a huge wall of text, so if you made it this far, thank you so much, merci beaucoup, muchas gracias! any suggestions are much appreciated :)
