I am renting a car in Munich and will be dropping it in Venice. Most agenices either don't let you do this or the drop fees are enormous, e.g. 800 Euro. Is anyone familiar with rental agencies that have more reasonable rates. Rick states that it varies widely. Thanks

I feel your pain.
We are taking the night train from Venice to Munich, then picking up the car and driving south to Austria to loop back north to Germany for drop off.

Ive found drop fees too high.Rent in Germany and then train to Italy and rent another.Visit cities before you need a car.best regards
