You are going to Berlin to fly home and not spend any time there? Why?

I'm wondering why you're going to Heidelberg. It's a neat town, but out of your way, unless there's a specific reason you're going over there (family? event?). I'd suggest using the time to stop in Dresden, which is between Prague and Berlin.

What a wonderful trip to share with your daughter. IMHO you need to stay in Venice at least one night. The magic of Venice is when the day trippers leave and the city is like a small village. I haven't found Venice to be that much more expensive than Rome or Paris. Try to fit a night in here.
