Two Weeks in Italy

We are planning a trip to Italy very soon and we are looking at the following itinerary: 2 days in Venice, 4 days in Florence, week in Rome with a side trip to Pompeii/Naples/Paestum. We have been to Florence and Rome and want to spend more time in Rome. More time in Venice? Maybe Vicenza or Padua? Side trip to Siena when in Florence?

I would suggest at least 3 days in Sorrento; 1 to see Herculaneum or Pompeii and Naples, one for the Amalfi coast, one for relaxing or going to Paestum.
