I am going to visit my daughter who is doing a semester abroad in Florence. I will be going around the middle of December. We should be there for about 2 weeks can anyone give us travelling suggestions. We are open to anything, my duaghter also wants to visit London. Best place to be during Christmas.

Paris is also beautiful that time of year. It is very easy to get from London to Paris.

Find a German market... the best are in Germany of course but there are lots of replications even in the UK.

German Christmas Markets! Go on the way to the UK. Plan to fly open jaw into Pisa and out of the UK and go up the Rhine valley. I think you will be blown away.
