Since from time to time a question appears about finding restaurants for special occasions, I thought I'd post the following. Today's (April 18) New York Times Travel Section is almost entirely devoted to restaurants in Europe. A number of the great cities are covered; and for each, a higher end and a lower end restaurant is described. The high end choices are mostly NOT in the astronomical range, and the lower end ones are more what I would call "moderate." That is, they are not going to be of interest to shoe-string travelers.
