I have an 10 hour layover in London from 11pm until early the next morning. I was wondering if there's any place to hang out in the city overnight-- restaurants, pubs, etc. Our overnight is a Saturday night, so there may be some interesting nightlife or places open late. My fellow travellers don't want to bother with booking a hotel for what will be about 4 or 5 hours of sleep.

Which airport are you landing at? I think both Gatwick and Heathrow have Yotels. You pay by the hour. By the time you get past immigration and customs, find a place to store bags, and get into town you would probably be past "last calls" at most pubs/clubs and might even have trouble getting into town as the underground and buses don't run in the wee morning hours. I'd chill at the airport.
