Can you give a little more info about your trip, perhaps? So someone can be better able to help.

For Brussels, I was already overwhelmed with trip planning for some other trips, and I wanted nothing less than to sit and read hotel reviews and pour through details and make complicated decisions.

So I just priceline'd it. ha!

I got a super central place for a decent enough price (85 US dollars/night for a double) and it looks like it will be a nice place. I am sort of prepared for "the worst" however, and won't really be upset if this place sucks. I just want to go check out Belgium.

Let me know which hotel you got and how good it was pelase.

We are going to be in Brussels for 3 nights in October after being a week in Paris.

Maybe check out tripadvisor.com good reviews on hotels that you can search by location or rating.
