Just came back from backpacking Central/Eastern Europe for just over a month. Won't give too much detail here, but I kept a blog about my travels that you can check out. Went to Nuremberg (day trips to Bamberg and Regensburg), Prague (DT to Kutna Hora), Krakow (DT Aushwitz), Budapest (DT Eger and Szentendre), Transylvania (Brasov, Sibiu and Sighisoara), Vienna (DT Wachau Valley) and Munich (DT Garmisch and Partinkirchen and Salzburg). Romania was by far the highlight.

I saw your travelpod link on a previous helpline post, and have been reading your blog about your trip. I went on a semi-solo European trip in May, too, so I was interested in reading about yours. Too bad you're back - now I have to find another interesting travel blog to read! Thanks for sharing.
