Trying to plan a 2 week trip over Christmas - don't want to go super cold - but looks like the Cinque Terre, parts of Spain and the French Riviera are in the 50's.
Is it a mistake to go to those places in December?? Thanks!!

a link to what 100+ of us have said about going to the CT in DecemberAnd here's a summary of the actual weather at the CT between Dec 20 - 30 in the last 12 years click here for last 12 yrs weather CT Dec 20-30, during that 10-day period, in the last 12 years, 5 of the 10 days have had rain. That is important because there aren't a lot of things to do indoors at the CT, it is mostly dirt trails and the trails tend to be up and down hills.
Was in the Cinque Terra three weeks ago and at least two restaurants told us they close Dec-Feb because there is no business at all.
