Anyone have experience in doing 3 to a room on Rick Steves? They will a
do it, just curious about quality of the rooms for 3?
Thank you
We had a group of 3 on a tour that I was on. I saw their rooms a few times during the tour. The quality was the same as everyone elses. Sometimes it was a larger room that they put an extra bed in and sometimes it was the same sized room that they put an extra bed in.
It is similar with those with single accommodations. Sometimes you get the exact same rooms and space as those with double occupancy and sometimes you get a smaller twin room.
We had a few family groups of 3 sharing rooms on our Best of Turkey tour. They were happy with all the rooms except 1 that they deemed too small to move around. (Judging from the size of my 2 bed room, I can understand!)
They elected to pay for a separate room, which happened to be available, for their daughter, at that one hotel.
Had 4 to a room but kept it on the down low. No problems.
