We're planning on seeing the London highlights. Would you suggest a 1 or 3 day travel card, a "London Pass", an Oyster Card, the Hop On Hop Off bus (buy one day get one day free) or a combo of the above? Thanks for your advise.

The hop on hop off bus is a great way to get an overview of the city. You see all of the main attractions as you go around, and you can decided which ones warrant a closer look the next day.

If you plan on doing anything other than sightseeing from the top of the bus, I'd suggest the travel card or Oyster card. You will want to go out for supper, do some shopping, etc. The hop on/off bus doesn't go out to Kew Gardens, for example. The bus is a great way to get orinented, but I wouldn't want it to be the only way I got around.
