2 week trip to italy from 8th may to 22nd may

Hello,
We are planning a 2 week trip to Italy. We want to cover Rome, Cinque terre, Florence and lastly San gimignano / Borgo di vagli.
We land in Rome on the 8th night and are planning on spending 8th night (sleep only) 9th, 10th and the 11th. We then take the train to Cinque Terre and are staying at Vernazza from 12th night to 15th afternoon when we catch a train to Florence. In Florence we are staying from 15th May to 19th May. We the move to either San Gimignano or Borgo di Vagli (please suggest) from 19th to the 21st. We fly out from Rome on the 22nd at 11 am.
Please suggest the following:
1: Is this trip sufficiently well spaced? Are the days sufficient for each region?
2: We are 4 adults with reasonable level of fitness. We intend to take trains / taxis from one region to another. We do not want to drive as we are from India and we wouldn't be comfortable on our first trip.
3: Please suggest possible commute from Borgo di Vagli / San gimignano to Rome airport directly to catch our flight departing at 11.00 am on the 22nd. We want to avoid staying in Rome on our way back.

Do you have any reservations for hotels, particularly in Vernazza? If not, you should look for them right away.

If you check the rome2rio website, you'll see that commuting from San Gimignano to Rome to catch an 11:00 a.m. flight is not feasible.

Head straight to Florence on arrival.

8 May - Florence
10 May - San Gimignano (or Siena)
12 May - Vernazza
15 May - Cortona (Borgo di Vagli)
18 May - Rome
22 May - Depart

I agree that you should spend your last nights in Roma, rather than your first nights, or plan to spend your last night in Roma and take the train or a taxi to the airport.

I think David is on the right track, but I would pick one Tuscan hill town, not two. It's just too many changes and not easy transportation without a car.

How late at night do you arrive? If you can go to Florence upon arrival, you will have some additional efficiency. Staying in Rome only at the end means your early departure won't be a problem.

Florence - May 8, 9, 10, 11

Cinque Terre - May 12, 13, 14

San Gimignano or Borgo di Vagli -- May 15, 16, 17

Rome - May 18, 19, 20, 21

Fly home May 22

Both San Gimignano and Borgo di Vagli are hard train/bus journeys, 5-6 hours each with many changes. Use the website Rome2Rio to explore options between locations to get an idea of transfer times.
