2 nights between Prague and Munich??

Opinions please .... we have 2 nights in between longer stays in Prague and Munich. The original plan was to travel to Cesky Krumlov for one night, on to Salzburg for another night, and then to Munich. I am reconsidering the 2 one-night stops in a row AND several people have recommended we see Berchtesgaden while we are in the area. Any suggestions? We are a group of 3 SOM fans so we do want at least part of a day in Salzburg. Thank you!

Prague to Salzburg is an all day affair on the train (6hr 15min) which leaves no sightseeing time on your arrival day.
Salzburg to Munich is, at best, a 90 minute journey. Theoretically you could do this the following evening after all day sightseeing. however for a Sound Of Music fan I would think this would leave you short. I would spend a second night in Salzburg and visit Hellbrunn Palace the following morning before moving on to Munich.

Berchtesgaden is easy by bus from Salzburg as a day (or half-day) trip. What do you want to see there? I was there in early June, mainly for the Documentation Center (excellent) - and a good thing, the mountains were fogged in and it would have been a wasted trip if my main goal was to go up top for the view. There's plenty to do in Salzburg for a day or two, including bicycle tours.

Thank you for your opinions. So many good options, not enough time. I think what I'm weighing is the stop in Cesky Krumlov, which looks charming and breaks up the long travel time from Prague to Salzburg, with 2 nights in Salzburg or Berchtesgaden area.
