2 days to explore near Shrewsbury

I will be leaving Shrewsbury,England on the 15th of July and would like some advice on which nearby towns I should visit over the next two days before I have to head back home (US). Or should I just go to Scotland? :) I spend 3 days in Edinburgh in '05.
