We are flying into Zurich, Switzerland, taking the train same day to Florence and return 14 days later to spend the last 2 days in Zurich and/or surrounding area. Any suggestions on where to go and what to do in any of these places? Especially Switzerland because we have never been there and not sure how to travel around. We have a car for a few days for when we go into Tuscany but will travel by public transit otherwise. Travel is mid-late September. :) Thank you!

Not Zürich. For two nights the easiest place is Luzern. On a lake with lake trips and mountain-top excursions possible. For the latter see: https://www.titlis.ch/en
Train from Luzern to Zürich airport twice per hour, takes 70 minutes.

Hi there!
We are in Italy for two weeks - one of those weeks being in Cinque Terre. WHERE or where should I book our stay in Cinque Terre? Just two adults.....we are planning on walking alot and hills, stairs, etc. are fun for us.

Yea we were thinking about Lake Como too. Thank you for that addition. As for where to stay, we are just going to book places when we get there, we don't want to be restricted to any one location for longer or shorter than we may want so we are just going to wing it. We did use Airbnb for our first night in Florence because we will be traveling and don't want to have the added pressure of finding a place the same night we get in. There are a lot of B & B's in the area too to check out for a decent price. Best of luck!
