Can anyone recommend some beautiful tree lined residential streets to walk around on Sunday with my husband in the 16th? We don't like touristy areas...thank you...

You will be in the northern part of the 16th from le Arc - I would recommend taking the metro 9 to Michel-Ange Auteuil - or begin at Eglise d'Auteuil (my neighborhood). You can walk from the Metro down rue la Fointaine to rue de l'Assomption to rue du Docteur Blanche - then back to Metro Jasmin.
This area is commented to be the bastion of bourgeois like. Auteuil is an old village that still has sprinkles of the old mixed with the new (the further north you go - towards Trocadero).
On Sundays the streets are deserted and you can really enjoy a stroll.
