Hi Guys,
My future wife and I (late twenties) are planning a European honeymoon from 11/05 - 11/17. We are not tied to any stereotypical "honeymoon" activities but are really looking to take advantage of the time-off to explore Europe for the first time. We will be using FF miles, so we are tied to a London arrival and either a London or Brussels departure. That being said, the cities we definitely want to visit are London, Paris, and Amsterdam. We're definitely open to any suggestions! However, we would prefer to stick to train travel.
Here's our loose itinerary:
Fly out Sunday night on a direct flight to London (Heathrow) that arrives Monday morning
London (3 nights)
Paris via Eurostar (5 nights)
Amsterdam via Thalys (3 nights)
Bruges via Thalys (1 night)
Fly out Saturday from Brussels
I'm wondering if Bruges is worth the hassle of the train to the Brussels airport and if we're better of staying in Brussels or adding another night to the other cities?
Thanks in advance!
