Leaving on Friday to Europe. Looking for any suggestions for a guide for about eight hours in Paris, need to go from NORD PARIS to Mantes to see the Buffet Music Factory, back to Paris to take the Eurostar back to London. In Paris for the day. Only quote I received is $1,263.22 for eight hours for the four of us. Any thoughts would be appreciated! Thank you,

Assuming you want Mantes-la-Ville for this, you would take the commuter train from St. Lazare station to Mantes-Station. Could you arrange for a taxi from there? It would cost less than a hundred dollars for the four of you, if you did it on your own. You could check the times and prices on SNCF, choosing a TER (regional, commuter) train for the Paris region. I found the information on Wikipedia, but maybe one of the train experts will come along and give you more precise information on how to do it yourself for a lot less.
