Northern Scotland

The Rick Steve's guidebook doesn't travel to the northern coast of Scotland. We have the firs 2 weeks in June to tour and are thinking about 2 days in the area of Tongue, Thurso, Wick and taking the ferry to Orkney. Does anyone have suggestions for for the area, should we take the time to travel the northern coast? Any suggestions for B&B's or good walks?

More suggestions? More time. There are walks out your ears on Orkney. Mull Head is a good one. Make up your own linking whatever you want.
