Can I take my I phone 5 from USA and use my Skype to make calls in Europe without getting a Sim card from Europe.

Sure as long as you are using the internet. Just be sure the data roaming is turn off on your phone. Skype and Facetime are great. See Skype/calling home just below (at the moment). Basically the same question.

sure you can. many hotels & even coffee shops have wifi for their customers, but often the signal may not be strong as I experienced in london last year. I used my iPad & the signal seemed weak..
