I think I read that Daylight Saving Time hits Europe this weekend and we are flying into Heathrow Monday and trying to get to a Eurostar train. We have about 4 hours -- but if the airline or train don't account for this time difference, it might be tight at 3 hours. Make sense?
Your airline ticket should show the arrival time in local time just as your Eurostar ticket will show the departure time in local time.
We "spring" ahead on Sat. night, 30 March. Will probably make people late for Easter services on Sunday, I am sure.
I remember when the summer time rules explicitly avoided changing time on an Easter Sunday. I can also remember when summer time came into force at different times in various European countries - or not at all. Much easier now.
We'll do the time change on Easter Sunday (March 30th).
Great, so it sounds like the airline and the Eurostar would have the local time on the tickets -- and it sounds like it happens a week after we arrive, so phew, I think we'll be fine.
