Very open question. You can literally go anywhere in Europe by plane or train.
How many nights will you be there?
What are your interest?
Who is "We" (adults, kids, seniors, strangers that follow you from the airport,...)?
Hi,
Assuming you have ample time, I suggest Berlin, Dresden and Munich to start off.
With 10 days starting and ending in Munich, you don't have much time for more than two destinations. I'd want 3 days in Munich and 4 days in Prague. Add in travel days and you are about done. You could squeeze in Berlin or Dresden (and the operative word is "squeeze"). Or you could do an overnight in Cesky Krumlov en route between Munich and Prague.
If you haven't already purchased your plane tickets, consider an open jaw itinerary (into one city and out of another). If you already have your tickets, never mind.
I hope you like short and cold days. It gets dark in December in Germany at 4:30. Bring warm clothings and a good hat and some gloves and scarf.
I lived in Germany for four years and loved it, but not the Winter. You can enjoy the Christmas markets if you go before Christmas.
Hi,
Good call on the strangers :)
Three girls. We plan to be there from 22nd to 31st.
We live in the UK and are used to it getting dark at 4. Hopefully it wont as wet!
Plan is to land in Munich on 22nd and take it from there.
We were thinking of 22nd to 24th munich
24th to 29th - Prague ( where can we do day trips on 28th and 27th?)
29th - 31st Nuremberg
Thanks

A lot of moving around for only 9 nights. It's a good idea to be in the city the day before you fly out from it for peace of mind. Take the hour train ride to Nuremberg the day you land in Munich, travel to Prague later and finish your trip in Munich getting there days before your flight. Suggestion:
Nuremberg: 22-24
Prague: 24-29
Munich: 29-31
