Hello! Looking for some guidance on itinerary suggestions that include London and possibly Vienna and maybe even Paris for 10 -11 Days in December. Want to enjoy the holiday festivities / Christmas markets and see the sites with my 21-yr-old daughter who is looking to see a lot quickly where I’m looking to enjoy fewer places for longer periods. It will be her first time in any of these possible spots ...I have been to London and Paris on several
Occasions.
Maybe include Salzburg and the Salzkammergut? We loved spending a day cruising on the Wolfgangsee and visiting the markets and sights in St. Gilgen, St. Wolfgang and Strobl.

London is lovely at Christmas-best to avoid Dec 24-26 due to poor transportation and most sights are closed. If she is a Harry Potter fan, you must go to the exhibit in Leavesden-the great hall is decorated for Christmas. If you are going, you should get your tickets for HP now! If you want to go to service near Christmas at Westminster Abbey(23,24) go to their website to see when you have to sit at your computer waiting for ticket "sales"(no charge for tickets) to begin. You will have a great time-Our 22 yr old daughter is still talking about our trip to London at Christmas in 2014.
London and Paris are both great choices and offer myriad day-trip options should you not find enough to entertain you in each city (unlikely). Since you will lose a couple of days of traditional sightseeing over Christmas, I would stick to two bases for 10 days. Vienna is rather far afield and it will eat up another precious day of your time together just to get there.
As mentioned, Paris might be best for the 24-26 of Dec as London shuts down more completely. It's lovely in London, but frustrating for someone trying to "see the sights."
For easy connections; London - Vienna - Budapest. Probably get a good open jaw for that as well. You didnt actually say Christmas but if you do, London first, because as mentioned everything closes on the 24th (been there for pre-Christmas a few years back, wonderful time). Budapest last because its markets stay open until the 1st. If you did Christmas to New Year I would want to be in Vienna for New Year Eve.
