Has anyone experienced a problem with the Orsay Museum online ticketing site? I followed the steps, set up an account and password as prompted, selected tickets for a valid date, but the site will not accept our credit cards. The site states the cards (Chase Sapphire Preferred) are not valid and now also states that our username and password are not valid. The instruction online is to set up a new account, which is impossible as it won't accept either email we have. I am accustomed to buying Europe museum tickets online, but I am stumped. I have emailed the ticket office twice and received no reply. Any ideas would be helpful. Thank you. Stephanie Smith
Are you using the official website?
From there, click on ticket office

One more question...does anyone know if the Orsay tickets have an individual's specific name on each ticket? If not, perhaps I cpi;d ask a friend to buy them for me. Desperate here!
I agree with Carrie, are you using the official website? This notice is on the top of their page
Please be aware that fake booking websites exist. Book your tickets on
the Musée d'Orsay official ticketing website:
https://billetterie.musee-orsay.fr/ The URL must include https and the
extension .fr. Thank you for your vigilance.
Others have reported issues with purchasing maybe their posts can help identify your issue:

As others have asked, are you using the official site to purchase your tickets?
Clear your cookies/history and try again. Are you using an email address like Gmail or something more obscure? That can sometimes be an issue.
Looking at my ticket from last April, it does show the purchaser's name. However, no ID was required at the entrance.
The only time I have seen any attention to the name on the ticket was with use of the Carte Blanche -- that card has a picture and the ticket monitor checks visually when it is presented. But otherwise, a ticket is a ticket -- when I bought them at the newsstand, they didn't even have names on them.
I think there may be issues with the website. I just went in, attempted to sign in to my account which I've had registered for a number of years and get the red box saying authentication failed.
I am on the correct ticketing website. I have my email and password saved on my computer and have been able to access it before.
I'd suggest later Monday night US time zone you send an email to them and inquire. I would not send it today as they are closed tomorrow if that makes sense?
Not sure what the problem is, if it is your email address I just got mostly through using a made-up gmail address. Cookies would not be a problem if on their first page you selected “Refuse cookies”.
However, as much as having this in advance is nice, do you really need to do so? We were in Paris middle of this past September and we purchased tickets online the night before from our lodging using a Yahoo address and a CapOne Mastercard with no issues. And noted when we arrived that we may have saved all of 3 minutes that morning by not having to go to the ticket window. This from someone who otherwise lines upmost transportation and larger activities well in advance.
I would try using different browser.
