I will be taking my 14 year old grandson to Paris. I am thinking to get a Museum Pass for me, but it seems that a 14 year old can get in many for free. Some also need timed entrance. How does that part work? Would the child need a timed entrance along with the adult? Thank you for any help you can give.

it varies by museum. At the Orsay the kid just walks in with you if I remember correctly. The Louvre requires a time ticket for the child which you can get for free on the website -- so check when you reserve your own tickets.
