Anyone have suggestions for the best sunset boat tour in Paris?
Vedettes du Pont Neuf is a river cruise company we've used several times and have always had a good experience. We never had to have a reservation. You might want to google them to see if that is still the case. The evening cruises with the city all lit up give new meaning to "the city of light".
caffeine.queen,
I also recommend Vedettes de Pont Neuf. We have ordered tickets online to get a small discount, but it wasn't necessary at that time (pre-covid). If it is now, the website is easy to navigate. The prices are very reasonable also. Whether you have reserved tickets or not, I recommend getting to the departure point about 45 minutes ahead of time to be assured of having a seat up top. Seating is not reserved. There are better views there, but it may be too cold for some, depending on the time of year and weather. I prefer them to Bateaux Mouches, which, if I remember correctly, hold far more people. Check the sunset time online for your day of choice, then check the Vedettes website to pick your cruise time. The narration is good also. When we went, it was mostly in French, but some of it was in English as well.
Have fun!
Thank you for your suggestions
