Paris Bed and Breakfast

I have the most recent Rick Steve's France Book and they suggest you contact two bed and breakfasts. When I try to access Alcoves & Agape, it reads:
Attackers might be trying to steal your information from www.bed-and-breakfast-in-paris.com (for example, passwords, messages, or credit cards). Learn more about this warning.
It won't even let me by-pass the warning to access the website.

When I search for "meet the French", I get a tour company instead of lodging.

Any suggestions for a nice place near the center with two beds in a room?

Julie, when are you traveling and what is your nightly budget in Euros? How many are in your party?

Most hotels in Paris don't include breakfast in the room rate and it is generally very expensive to do in the hotel -- I'd not want to restrict myself to the handful of places that do, but find a hotel whose location, rates and room configuration you like and grab coffee and rolls at nearby cafe or bakery.

Julie you should also report this to the Rick Steves guidebook staff using their feedback form, especially if you are following a URL listed in the printed guidebook. The form is here: https://www.ricksteves.com/forms/guidebook-feedback-form

And there are plenty of hotels that offer breakfast for reasonable rates, you need not find a cafe. You can use a search engine like Booking.com to identify properties by location, price, and amenities. No need to book using that website you can go directly to the hotel's website after doing some research.

We are looking at late April. We are unsure if there will be 2 or four of us atm but we plan on spending five days in Paris. I would like to keep the price of a room with two separate beds (one for each person) under $400 US.

hey hey Julie
check out bedandbreakfast.guide
about 6-7 years ago we looked at alcoves & agape with many places/accomodations to look at. then covid begins to happen and strict rules about apartment rentals, life went "haywire" for many travelers.
the website closed down and never came back or else someone else took it over with another name. happened to us in amsterdam, rented an apartment which was really nice on a canal, couple years later the website closed so we decided to rent a houseboat with 4 of us.
are you only looking for B&B's? you can also look at citadinesleshallesparois.com or citadines-tour-eiffel.parishotelsfr.com
read the fine print, check beds (some have sofa beds: don't want that), mobility issues "lift/elevator", breakfast is $22/day (you can buy stuff from a bakery close by), check-in 3-4pm check-out 10-11am, location, know that may 1 is a national holiday with many places closed, be prepared. have a great time and enjoy
aloha

You should be able to find quite a few hotels with 2 beds for your budget. Here are a few.

f you prefer staying on the Ile Saint-Louis, these hotels would probably be just at your budget.

Hotel des Deux Iles has small rooms with 2 beds.
Hotel Saint Louis en L'Isle has superior rooms with 2 beds.

In the Latin Quarter near the Pantheon Hotel des Grands Hommes has rooms with 2 beds for under $300usd.

You would need to confirm 2 beds directly with the hotel.
