Louvre re-entry Paris Museum Pass

Has the re-entry limitation changed since this post from Sept 2021?

It’s aggravating that some would abu$e re-entry at the expense of those of us who would not. We have 6 day passes and would love to enjoy the three wings at a more leisurely pace. If the answer is no then there’s always the option of purchasing a one visit ticket as a sort of supplement to the pass.

Thx - Phil

I went to the museum pass website to see if the 1 entry rule was still in place. If you go to this link, you will see that it is.

This was the rule when I last went in 2019 and it made me so sad. I loved to go at different times of the day during past visits and breaking my visit into bite sized visits. I also looked at timed ticket prices and they didn't seem too bad. That's what I will probably do on my next visit-purchase pass & buy an extra ticket.

Yes, the tour group abuse has resulted in those of us who are using the past the way it was intended not being able to go back.

It was never intended that half of the group should go in now, and then the guide to take the passes out and the other half of the the group go in, and the guide take the passes and give them to another guide to do the same thing tomorrow with more groups.

The Louvre could easily solve this tour group abuse without penalizing ordinary travelers and art lovers. For starters require an entirely different ticketing process for tour groups. It is really disappointing as an ordinary art lover to not be able to pace the visit as we once could i.e. morning visit, leave and have lunch and a walk, then return for a late afternoon session at the museum..
