Hire Driver in Paris for One Day

Jan, Are you wanting to hire a driver to drive you round Paris? And presumably drop you off at places you want to go to, and wait for you?
If you think that is possible, you have not been to Paris or any other major European city. You cannot just stop where you want, the places a driver could drop you off or pick you up are limited. There are no "drop off" or "pick up" points at the major sites. And you definately cannot park where you want, after dropping you off the driver would have to drive somewhere else, and pay parking, to wait for you to call them.
The fastest way to get around Paris is the métro, except in the evenings it is faster than driving. If you do want "point-to-point" transfer by car, use a taxi, hailing a new one whenever you want to get to a new location. But that will be expensive.
Or, for orientation on the first day, there are Hop-on-hop-off buses doing circuits.
I suggest you research more into public transport in Paris.
