EasyBus from CDG

Has anyone used this service? I read about it in Rick's France guidebook. You catch the bus at terminal 2F and it drops you off across from the Louvre, which looks to be about a 20 minute straight shot walk from where we are staying in the Marais. It only costs around 6 euro. Is this too good to be true?

You can try it FROM the airport -- low risk. But never use an unreliable service like this, or for that matter a shuttle service, TO the airport where a foul up is disastrous. It is only 10 Euro to take the train from the airport to anyplace in Paris.

It's only ten euros in the rer , faster, and likely a shorter walk to your accommodation .

Easy bus sounds less reliable.

Thank you for the replies, looks like we will be taking the train. I had planned on a taxi back to the airport but was hoping to find a cheaper alternative from. And thank you Valerie for your link, I don't know how I missed it earlier. I've always been a little hesitant to ask a question on here in fear that it has been asked before. And I did!

You might not be aware that there are new flat fees for taxis going to or from both airports.
Depending on which side of the river you're on, you'll pay 50 or 55 EU for 4 passengers and luggage.

If there are more than two of you and if you're coming off a long-haul flight and have a significant amount of luggage, I'd advise you to take a taxi from the official taxi stand. You could economize on the way back by taking the train.
Walking 20 minutes in hot or rainy weather will not be much fun.
