My wife and land at CDG at 6 AM on May 8. 2019, Victory Day. We plan to take a taxi to our Hotel near Champ de Mars, drop our bags, and then explore the area on foot. We will no doubt be hungry and need to eat.
Will we find restaurants open on Victory Day?
Will we require advance reservations?
Any specific recommendations?
Is there a decent place that would be open to eat breakfast right at the airport?
Will we have any problem getting a cab?
Also, we want to experience some of the Victory Day celebration, but with recent protests and all, are there areas in particular that we should avoid on the holiday (or all the time) for safety reasons?
