Air France cabin bag measurements

Edited to correct my original typo on measurements. I’m simply asking how AF measure the dimensions of the bag at the airport - I’m worried I haven’t measured accurately. I have included handle and wheels. Has any seen what they do? There is no problem with weight.
My cabin bag seems to be exactly the maximum measurements stated (55cm x 25cm x 35cm) but I’m nervous at what will happen if I’m a cm over. Have I measured accurately?!
How are the bags measured at the airport?
I tried to book a checked bag after I’d made my booking, but the site is not loading.

You may be able to find the bag measurements on the company website for your brand and style of bag. Go with the metric measurement instead of the inch measurement as the inches are usually rounded. In doing a search in 2022 for a new bag I realized some companies round up, some round down, so keep with your cm's as above!

If your bag is soft-sided it may have more forgiveness in getting it into a sizer than a hard-shell case does.

Be sure to measure the height with your luggage standing up on it's wheels if it has them. Here is a good visual on how to get an accurate measurement if you can't find it on the suitcase website.

Thank you - I didn’t ask the question clearly enough and will now edit it. And yes, there was a typo! My combined weight is less that 12kg, so that’s fine. It’s simply that I’m not trusting my measurements of the case - several times checked and apparently exactly the website measurements but Im worried I’m wrong by a cm. Is the suitcase measured with a box or a metal measure?

It's been a few years, but my husband's bag was put in the box and failed. I don't know the size of his bag.

I never found Air France to be that stringent. If you measured and it's OK, then you'll be OK. They eyeball the bags, but I haven't seen them measure bags in years - I use them 2-5 times/year with a cabin bag that is a full inch too wide.

at CDG they use a metal sizer.

i've flown AF 2x - late 2021 out of JFK and last year out of YUL. Regular economy for both. And my return to JFK flight, which was not even HALF full (had my own row, as did most on the flight) i STILL had to put my tiny 15" Delsey roller into the sizer at CDG.

My YUL flight which was PACKED?? Nope, did not have to put any bag into a sizer on return. But I would be prepared.

And all airlines measurements INCLUDE the wheels.
