I would like to try artichoke risotto, gnocchi and some otter good vegetarian Italian food while in Florence later this week. If you can suggest some good places to eat there I would appreciate it. Thanks! Rose

At La Spada, near SMN area - you can get a very nice Ribollita soup. The roasted potatoes are nice. Italian cantaloupes (melone) are sweet and delicious. There are meat-free pasta dishes. You can get info. on La Spada on tripadvisor. It's a nice, casual friendly place. Moderate prices.
