Tuscany cooking classes?

Has anyone taken a cooking class in Florence, or nearby, that they would recc? It's an experience that is a must for our trip, but trying to choose one has been difficult!

hey geishecker
we did a cooking class at the market, which was fun but too many people. other sites to check are getyourguide.com that has a few, we have used this site for other tours with no issues, travelingspoon.com (look at the few that offer the classes in florence that happen in the house/apartment/bnb) which is more up close and personal. another site is chefpaolo-cookingtours.com he is in lucca, which may be out of the way. he also has accomodations. hope you find something that suits you and have fun.

Our family of 23 were in Tuscany several years ago. We did a cooking class and they came to the villa we were renting. It was an amazing day. We still get together a couple of time a year to make fresh pasta and sauces that we learned while there. It was Tastemotions.com. Valentino and his wife Larisa, were very personable. I highly recommend this class. Please check it out.
