Hi, we arrive on Sunday evening to Palermo and will stay at Hotel Alma for 2 nights before heading to our Rick Steves hotel/tour. Would appreciate any restaurant recommendations close to the Alma. Also, lots of things are closed on Mondays, any recs for things to do that day? Thank you

We took this tour in 2019. We had a wonderful lunch at Osteria Pantelleria, L.go dei Cavalieri di Malta, 90133 Palermo.
Notes from our journal - this is what we ordered:
‘filetto di vitello sciliano alla griglia con cipolia caramellata e bacon croccante’, grilled Sicilian veal fillet with caramelized onion and crispy bacon
and ‘risotto al profumo di asparagi e gambero bianco locale’, asparagus-flavored risotto and local white shrimp.
Dessert was chocolate mousse dessert and Limoncello di Sicilia.
